Nexus is The POA's ministry designed for young single adults in their 20s and 30s.  Nexus focuses on personal growth, spiritual development, community evangelism, and connection with like-minded singles.  The goal of Nexus is to revolutionize ministry to this generation and to mobilize them to their maximum potential.

NEXUS is designed to help the "20 & 30 somethings" discover the life God created them to experience!

The vision of Nexus is:
     UNDISCOVERED–in search of something more
     UNPLUGGED–balancing relationships
     UNCERTAIN–living despite life's risks
     UNSTOPPABLE–living a life of significance

Nexus will accomplish this through a variety of avenues:
     NEXUS CONNECT GROUPS –small group ministries
     NEXUS CELEBRATES –a monthly celebration of birthdays following the Sunday evening service
     NEXUS ANNUAL CONNECTIONS –a national celebration for all Nexus groups

Nexus meets on Sunday mornings in the Nexus Sunday school room, which is located in the G. A. Mangun Center (GAMC) upstairs above the auditorium. The Nexus room is accessible from the stairs in the lobby of the GAMC. 

Nexus provides many activities and events designed to promote fellowship and spiritual growth, and frequently has ongoing enrichment series that meet on Wednesday evenings.  From Nexus Connection events (which bring in singles from around the nation) to out-of-town trips or Nexus Celebrates birthday activities, Nexus members are provided with the opportunity to connect with singles with like beliefs, values, and priorities.
