Week 33 – August 25th
I DIE DAILY
As we learn of the significance of the Tabernacle in our lives and how we are to maintain a temple that is pure, so that the glory of God will be made manifest in us, let us pray these verses of scripture daily to help us live a life that is pleasing to God. Heb 9:11-13 But when Christ came as a high priest of the good things that have come, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that was not made by human hands.. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood he went into the Holy of Holies once for all and secured our eternal redemption.
Rom 12:1-3 Father, thank You for the opportunity today to present my body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is my reasonable service. Help me not be conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Heb 9:12 You did not purchase my redemption with the blood of goats and calves, but by Your own blood You saved me. Rom 6:13-19 Help me not to yield my members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin: but let me yield myself to righteousness. For sin shall not have power over me.. I thank God that being made free from sin, I became the servant of righteousness. 1Co 15:31-34 Help me die daily. Let me be aware that evil communications corrupt good manners. Help me awake to righteousness. 1Co 2:16 Give me the mind of Christ. 1Co 9:27 Help me bring my body into subjection: lest when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Gal 5:16 -22 Help me not be deflected from the true course of obedience! Help me live freely, animated and motivated by God's Spirit and not feed my carnal nature. I daily place on the brazen altar of my life, all pride, idolatry, impurity, witchcraft, hatred, sexual immorality, discord, jealousy, strife, deceit, dishonesty, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, bitterness, un-forgiveness, laziness, covetousness, drunkenness, wrath, malice, blasphemy and help me expose all secret sins in my life, because they that do these things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1Jn 1:7 Help me we walk in the light, as You are in the light. Your blood, Jesus, washes me from all sin. Rom 8:13 Let me, through the Spirit, mortify and put to death the deeds of the body, so that I shall live. Col 3:2-9 Let me set my affections on things above, not on things on the earth. I choose to walk in the Spirit, and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. They that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Col 3:4-5 Father, protect my eyes, my mind, my heart, my body, my emotions. Rom 6:2 -8 How shall I, being dead to sin, live any longer in sin? I have been baptized into Christ and into His death? Therefore I am buried with him by baptism into death: that, as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, I also should walk in newness of life. My old carnal nature is crucified with Him, that from now on, I should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. And if I am dead with Christ, I shall also live with him! 1Co 2:2 I don’t want to know anything save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Ignite my heart with the fire of Your Spirit and help me be an ambassador of Christ manifesting the glory of God to a lost and dying world.
