At the POA, we are dedicated to fostering healthy spiritual growth and
development. Our goal is to see every member involved and
fulfilling his/her mission in the kingom of God. We have many
different ministries designed to help us realize this goal in addition
to the ones listed on the main menu. Click on a ministry below

Daughter Churches--the POA's daughter works in the surrounding area
Deaf Ministry--provides interpretation for all services and many major events
Hostesses--create an atmosphere of genuine love, concern, and care while establishing a positive relationship with guests
Men of Influence--the POA's Men's Ministry
Ministry Training--equips POA members for their personal and corporate ministries
Orientation--a class designed for new members
Overcomers--accommodates the physically and mentally challenged
POA Training Center (POATC)--provies an intense 15-week period of hands-on training in many ministry areas to help equip those called to minister
Ushers--welcome visitors and assist guests with seating
The POA cannot function without specialized support ministries.

Campus Operations--responsible for maintanence of buildlings and upkeep of grounds
Family Life Center--provides a place for recreation and physical fitness
Hospitality--assists special guests with accommodation and transportation needs and makes them feel welcome
Information Services--keeps the POA Family up to date on the latest events
Record Keepers/Baptistry--complete a Spiritual Birth Record of information on each person who is bapitzed
Service Groups--includes bereavement care, hospital prayer, nursing home visitation, and the Clothes Closet
Technical Support--provides technical support for all services and events
Visitor Follow-Up--attempts to visit or call each person that has attended a church service
