 After
months of work and weeks of holding our worship services at
the Alexandria Riverfront and the LA Convention Centre, The POA Family gathered for
the first service in our newly
renovated Main Sanctuary--a special 10:00 am Morning Worship
Communion Service--on August 14, 2005. The renovations
not only updated the Main Sanctuary building but also
increased the seating capacity of our sanctuary by several
hundred seats.
The construction in the Main Sanctuary included the installation of
theatre-type seating and the relocation of the back wall.
In addition to construction in the sanctuary, the lobby was
enlarged and completely renovated. Fresh paint and new
carpeting throughout the building completed the update.
The expansion has brought much change to The POA--new
construction, a new look, new faces--but it is still the same
building . . . and it still houses the same presence of God .
. . and its walls still echo with the same truths. Get
